My little (okay, not so very little) pirate is off to school. It hurts a little because his teacher doesn't believe in room moms. I hate that he is growing up so fast.

Nice Costume. I hate when teachers don't believe in room mothers and then you will here others say, "If parents were more involved..." What about the ones that want to be? Very frustrating.
By the way, we have carpet in every room of the house! I hate it and when she goes to bed tonight I'm tossing it out.

NO ROOM MOMS?????? you mean teachers have a choice? Omg I will just freak out if i can't go in with my son whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
He looks very COOL! Seems like any teacher would welcome Moms coming in to help. When mine were small I would go in and offer help and the teachers always had things for me to do. We live too far out in the country for trick-or-treaters so I won't get to enjoy the kids in costume tonight.
