Getting Ready...

Spending money, cleaning like a mad woman so all those people don't think to themselves,"Boy she really HAS gone round the bend... My Gosh, the dust elephants that were hanging around.

Krandall (the chair for those of you who haven't been playing along) went today. My mom came with the guy who took the truck to get it. He wanted it as well, and I needed to get rid of it. They came over while we were at Sandcastles so I wouldn't have to see the truck.

Ya know, James is freaking on me right now, so I'll have to get back to this later. He's been rough ---really rough, of the staying up until 4AM with mom kind- lately.

Glad you are getting things done. I hope James gets a little easier for you soon.

Is sandcastles getting any better? I hope the party goes well.

marshamlow-Last night was our last meeting for the summer. They do a camp for the kids (James didn't want to go, so I won't push him). The kids really enjoy it and I am ambivalent. I still can't get past hating having a reason to be there. I still have trouble introducing myself and saying Leonard's name. But, on the up side, I have met some wonderful people.

I'm late, but I couldn't let this pass.

Anonymous-Fern was right. We don't find it entertaining. We find it inspirational. Inspirational in that someone chose to march forward in their life, despite having the rug pulled out. We feel privileged to learn from Laura. We hope that by commenting and visiting we can, in some small way, lend a hand.

Pity party? How dare you. How slimy!

Method of passing? Who gives a crap how it happened? It doesn't hurt any less.

So, anon, I think perhaps, in some twisted way, you were attempting to offer that "kick in the pants" that some people need to get on with things. The only problem is that such a kick doesn't apply to every situation. It certainly does not apply here. She didn't lose her job or have her roof blown off by a storm, she lost her best friend and husband. OBVIOUSLY, or maybe not so obvious to you, people have to work on things their own way and in their own time.

If YOU cannot handle it, take your boots somewhere else!

Laura, love ya!
