Texas Wildflowers

How amazing are those highways in Texas? How could all you Texan bloggers keep the wildflowers a secret? Or maybe you haven't and I just miss your posts... Blue bonnets waving goodbye to us, mixed among daisies and those giant, thorny clover looking flowers, and paintbrushes... I just wanted to stop the car and sit and gaze at them. We had a schedule to keep though, and all I could do was catch as many of them with my eyes as James took several blurry, whizzy pictures out the window. I was going to share them, but blogger is not letting me post pictures.

I am thinking, today (and I say today because tomorrow it will be completely different I am sure) of new countertops and bay windows (in case of a sale) and tattoos, and how much anti-depressants don't help (Cymbalta=wicked bad dreams and Lexapro leaves a horrid taste in my mouth), and the things I "meant to" do today. All the while a report sits here, half finished on my desk. AND, I typed loosing, instead of losing on Tessie's blog today...and am mortified. Why won't Blogger let us idiots edit our posts??? So there it is.

Good night all... Maybe pictures tomorrow. Sleep well.

I got a tattoo when I got divorced, I think a lot of people do it to mark certain things in their lives. Good choice? Who knows. I still like mine.

Anti-depressants? I tried about 8 different kinds (over a period of years) until I found what works for me and as I've said on my blog - you couldn't pay me to stop taking them now.

Sorry you're having trouble with Blogger - I love nothing more than some pretty wildflower pics!

I'm glad you enjoyed our bluebonnets! It's an annual tradition to force your children to sit in a field of them while taking oodles of pictures....I hope you got some good ones!

The Texas wildflowers really are something.

As for Blogger, it's really making me angry these days...:sigh:

I just saw a picture recently of the bluebonnets. My Mom loved wildflowers and so do I. Glad you had the time to see the flowers, even if you didn't have time to smell them :)

Would you like a designer to help with that tattoo? I happen to know someone who's a professional! Not tattoo artist... designer. ;-)

BTW... Celexa works well for me. Just FYI.

Those Texas bluebonnets are beautiful aren't they? I was so happy we were there the right time of year. And for the record I forced my kids to sit in them for photos. They were more worried about bees than smiling though. :-)

We've all made typos in comments. Don't sweat it!

That post was everywhere but I enjoyed it none the less. I have two tatoos and am thinking about adding a third. I say do it!

Oh, PLEASE. You should SEE some of the typos and spelling errors I have made. Losing/Loosing is NOTHING. I have left out entire WORDS before.

The bluebonnets truly are cool. The only problem is that they only last for a short window of time so if you want to get the obligatory Bluebonnet Photo Op you have to really be on the stick, which I think we all know is not exactly my strong suit.

I guess we take the flowers for granted. I was recently noticing that they are not as pretty this year as they usually are, and wondering if it was due to last year's drought or the passing of Lady Bird Johnson, whose pet project they were.

I will never, ever forgive you for making that spelling error. And in a blog comment area, no less! HOW COULD YOU!?

LOL. I wish my sophomores were so contrite. Or, better yet, recognized that that was an error. Hee hee.

At least you recognized the mistake.Maybe too late, but nevertheless you noticed. I do it often, and I sit there screaming "come back, come back". And then, do I send another post correcting myself, or just hope that nobody notices? (yeah, right)

Wildflowers sound beautiful. I've always wanted to visit Texas- husband has some relatives there, so maybe someday I'll get to see those flowers for myself.
Actually anywhere really warm sounds great right now.

You have no idea how many times I've just wanted to scrap Blogger and move over to Typepad. It takes forever for me to load photos, no idea if it is Mac related or what. I have to be in the mood to suffer when I choose to load photos, that is for sure.
