A Dark and Stormy Night

Now, if I could just find the strength to drag those huge water logged boxes on the side of the house upfront for the garbage guys I would be happy.

My other pets (Merlin and Jessie) are not so very please with wicked weather. James and Kittimus thoroughly enjoyed it.

Why is it that waking a child up for those last few days of school is 10 times worse than waking a child up in February when it's 12 degrees out? Perhaps it is nature's way of ensuring that we will welcome them home for Summer Vacation with open arms.

Your couch is beautiful, I'm jealous. I hate storms, but good for James and Kittimus for enjoying the show. I love when you write and I'm so glad you're back to writing a little more often!

I am a storm lover too, I actually sleep like a log when its storming. I especially like pre-storm when the wind is blowing everything aroound and the sky is lighting up.

Tonight was one of those nights. I think about 40% of my neighbors were outside just drinking it in, because after 5 days of 95+ degree weather it was just SO welcome.

Laura, it has rained here alot too. Hope it dries up for you there, and I hope it dries up here. I am thinking about getting a houseboat and setting it up in the front yard. LoL

What terrific photos. The poses are priceless, captured together like that. My cats hide from storms. How brave yours is!

I'm glad you are safe from the storms. I heard from several family members that they were hit pretty hard too. I miss a good thunder storm, we had the best ones in Kansas.
I love the new couch.
The 'boy and his cat' are too cute!
